Puppies
Following on from this Alex and Ianto thread.

Jack hums to himself as he heads up the grounds to the house— their house for now, their home— carrying a shopping bag. He's not sure if Ianto will still be working, but might as well get on back home so he'll be around when Ianto finishes, if he hasn't already.

It takes a little shifting to get his key out and unlock the back door, but he manages it. Going through the front might mean strolling through some clients if they're still around, and while he doesn't care if they have a look at him and speculate, it might be a little disruptive. He gets the door shut behind him and heads on through to the living room.

And...

"... Huh?"

... Puppies. Puppies?

	He still hasn't managed to make himself go back to the office, settling on the carpet, watching the pups shift slightly or scrabble their legs in their sleep. 	He stares at one of the sleep-scrabbling puppies and slowly crouches to set the shopping bags on the floor. He looks over to the basket, then back to Ianto. 	Maybe it's a bit far-fetched, but with Krycek's very clear dislike of him... he wouldn't put it past the guy to try to slip in something. He still looks at them warily anyway. "... His puppies. In our house. Indefinitely." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
